The National Resistance Movement (NRM) Presidential candidate, Gen. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, will address the nation today at 7PM, Senior Press Secretary to the President Don’t Wanyama has said on Monday night.
According to Wanyama, the President’s address will be relayed on all Radios & Televisions with a focus on the key issues regarding Thursday’s presidential and parliamentary elections.
Last week, social media users in Uganda posted on their social platforms stating that candidate Museveni will be voted on the aday after January14 polling dates.
He rushed on to televisions and his personal social media pages to dismiss the information.
Furthermore, in his last nation’s address, Candidate Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tibuhaburwa alleged that he had credible information on some Electoral Commission officials who wants to rig the election.
This attracted public debate at local and international scenes with many questioning how a president who has been in power for 35yrs could not trust the EC he personally appoints.
