The United Arab Emirates- UAE has suspended flights from Uganda, Parrots UG has learned.
According to a notice by the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA), UAE has temporarily suspended flights without giving any details.
“UAE has temporarily suspended flights from Uganda until further notice,” CAA Uganda announced.
UCAA has further indicated in a notice that all incoming flights from Dubai to Uganda are still operational.
“Passengers planning to travel to Dubai are advised to contact their respective airlines for guidance on any changes in the restrictions,” UCAA explained.
This is not the first time UAE is suspending flights from Uganda. In June, 2020, UAE suspended Emirates flights from seven African countries including Uganda due to surges in corona virus cases.
