The Uganda martyrs parish priest Fr. Didas R Kasapuri has called on all Catholics who invite some people to pray for them at their homes or any other place out of the church to stop with immediate effect because the people they are dealing with are no longer Catholics.
Fr. Kasapuri noted that there are some people masquerading as catholic priests and prayer warriors who visit christian homes for priestly duties and he is not aware of their motives.
Among the people he cautioned against is Hilary who holds prayers at his home in Kamukuzi on Tuesday and Friday, Kimuli Erineo who joined the Phanero ministries and prays with some other group in Kakoba, Kiyemba who holds prayers at his home in Kakyeka every 3rd Thursday of every month, Ambrose who masquerades as a reverend brother who also holds prayers at his place in Rwebishuri, and Byaruhanga Serioza who holds prayers at his home in Ruharo.

In a circular dated 5th November, Fr. Kasapuri urged Christians who have been going to those places out of ignorance to repent and come back to the Catholic church or to chose to follow their people and stop misusing the holy sacraments.
Kasapuri also told Christians to stop all prigrimages to areas of worship outside the Mbarara Archdiocese till further notice. Some of these areas are Kibeho in Rwanda, Bukalango,and Kiwamilembe. He also encouraged Christians to always request through the parish priest’s office in case they need priests to pray with in their homes and to always take all the announcements to the head of Catechists for perusal and stamping.
