NTOROKO
A Uganda People’s Defense Force (UPDF) Helicopter has this afternoon crashed and burst into flames after it crashed in Ntoroko district western Uganda.
The crash occured on Tuesday afternoon January 2, 2024, in the areas of Karugutu in Ntoroko district
It is reported that the chopper was on its way to Democratic Republic of Congo on security missions.
Maj Naboth Mugisha, the spokesperson of the UPDF Air Force says the crash was an accident, adding that details of what could have happened will be released.
