A third year student at Valley University of Science and Technology (VUST) in Bushenyi district has been killed in cold blood, reliable sources indicate.
The deceased, Susan Kyatuhaire was pursuing Bachelor’s of Arts in Education in her final year.
She was allegedly raped and killed by unknown persons who later dumped her body at rented room in Kitookye Bushenyi municipality.
Kyatuhaire’s body was found at her doorway last night at around midnight, according to a University community WhatsApp group.
Police was informed and arrived at the scene which they documented and the body of the deceased was conveyed to a hospital in Bushenyi for a postmortem.
Kyatuhaire’s death comes barely a fortnight ago when a body of alleged raped and killed Makerere University female student, Jackline Nakalembe was found rotting in a trench in Kampala. At least 7 suspects were arrested in connection to the murder of Nakalembe and one of them has since admitted guilty to the charges. May their souls RIP.
By the time of compiling this report, police had not issued any statement regarding this murder and no medical report had been released to confirm rape allegations. More details to follow in our subsequent reports
