A 35-yr old woman in Apac district is nursing wounds after a fellow set her house on fire accusing her of sleeping with her husband.
Judith Apio, a resident of Anga-nguti village Ongica Parish Chegere sub county in Apac district on Friday evening allegedly invited her boyfriend, Bonny Okulu,27, in her house but Okullu’s wife suspicious of the two concubines followed them secretly until she caught them making lovein Apio’s house.
The angry wife [yet to identify] who was armed with a panga then set ablaze the house and when Apio attempted to flee, she reportedly cut her several times leaving her in critical conditions.

According to Isaac Abili Newton, the eye witness, three grass thatched houses and a number of household properties were destroyed in the fires.
Patrick Cwaa, the Angu-nguti LC1 chairperson condemned the stressful act noting that he his office has already reported the matter to Chegere police station.
The victim (Apio) was by the time of compiling this report admitted at Florence Nightingale hospital in Apac municipality for further treatments.
