KCCA FC head coach Mike Mutebi seems comfortable going back to his traditional coaching styles of using a generation of young players.
This comes after the expiration of contracts of the old era of players including Erisa sekisambu, Jackson Nunda, Mike Mutyaba, among others.
“Their turn is over and we are not going to renew their contracts they have served us enough and we feel it’s over and the team has to be refreshed.”Mutebi stated.
However Mutebi is optimistic that the departure of the so called experienced players will have no harm to the club since the club has many experienced players the likes of Poloto, Machete, Kizza, Charlse Lukwago, Gift Ali which might have given him the confidence to refresg the team with young and creative players.
“we believe the young generation of players are hungry to take us ahead, they have made their names already just like no one knew about the Okellos’ so as this new young generation of young and creative players,we want to bring those new faces so that when they play every one will say woow,” Mutebi stated.
He stressed that KCCA gives young players the liberty to do what they know and Orient them always keep high their potentials.
Mutebi belives that its this orientation which will make players go extra miles as far as creativity, good movement, and ball possession are concerned.
Apparently KCCA FC is eying Vipers FC forward Steven Mukwala, Pius Obunya, Charles Lwanga, Ashraf Mandela, Bright Anukani,Brian Aheebwa and Hassan Wasswa.
