At least 120 people were last night arrested in Busega Kampala for flaunting COVID-19 guidelines.
The Kampala Metropolitan Police deputy spokesperson, ASP Luke Owoyesigyire has disclosed that the suspects were arrested at Best Hotel Busega during a joint securityoperation to enforce COVID-19 guidelines.
“120 people have been arrested from Best Hotel Busega , after they were found flauting Covid-19 guidlines on operation of bars.” Owoyesigyire said.
According to O woyesigyire, the suspect’s are now detained at Katwe and Natete police stations, they will be arraigned in courts of law as soon as investigations are done.
