Eperu, a former spokesperson of the FDC women league passed away on Sunday April 7, at LifeLink hospital Namugongo at 8:30pm.

Speaking to journalists at the party headquarters Najjanankumbi on Monday, John Kikonyogo, the party spokesperson eulogized the deceased who he described as a committed member who at no point betrayed the opposition struggle.

“We worked with Sarah Eperu from the Reformed Agenda till we formed FDC. She was a lady who was committed and there was no single day when she was not FDC and she has passed on as FDC,”Kikonyogo eulogized.

He confirmed the party position to give a decent send off to Eperu.

“As a party, we are contacting the family so as we organize a good send off for our sister,” said Kikonyogo.

By press time, neither the family nor the party had communicated official funeral arrangements.
