KAMPALA: A video purpoted to a Cafe javas female client on Thursday awashed social media showing how she was allegedly served a Cafe Javas Milkshake with a dead rat inside.
According to the lady, she found the dead rat at the bottom of the tin after finishing the milkshake.
The disappointed client then captured a short video clip describing a mess in her fate accusing the restaurant of negligence.
“This is a rat I found in my milkshake from Café Javas, yeah the people we feel so proud of…and they tell me to have this worked upon, I need to get a lawyer.” the disgruntled client is heard narrating in a video.
She threatened to hire lawyers and sue Café Javas’ for compensation.
Cafe Javas, a classy fully-fledged restaurant specializing in delivering memorable dining experiences has over seven branches spread across Kampala, the capital of Uganda.
By the time of compiling this report, Cafe Javas management had not made any comment on the incident.
But some reports alleged that the dead rat must have been a malicious plan by the client to damage the corporate image of the restaurant.
