It was a day of moment, fun and excitement as iconic UPC president Hon. Jimmy Akena was mobilising support for the Dokolo District Woman MP by-election Candidate Sarah Aguti Nyangkori in Adeknino Sub-County and Kangai Town Council on Monday 18th March 2024.
On the trail was the Party Secretary General Hon. Fred Ebil, UPC Whip in Parliament and Oyam District Woman MP Hon. Santa Alum, Oyam North MP Hon. Dr. Eunice Otuko Apio, Party National Treasurer and Maruzi MP Hon. Maxwell Akora, Apac Municipality MP. Hon. Ocan Patrick, Maruzi North MP. Hon. Nelson Okello Lemba, Kole South MP Hon. Ocen Peter, Lira City West Division MP Hon. Vincent Ebong, Alebtong LCV District Chairman Comrade David Kenneth Odongo, Amolatar District LCV Chairman Comrade Ocen Geoffrey and Local Government leaders, Regional Vice Chairperson of Lango Comrade Chris Ongom, Party District Chairpersons, Suzan Achola (Apac District), Med Mac (Amolatar) among other members.
Today, the UPC Team is canvassing for votes in Bata and Agwata Sub Counties, both in Dokolo sub-county.
