The Deputy Resident City Commissioner (RCC) of Rubaga division, Anderson Burora, has warned opposition leaders under their coalition the United Forces of Change not to involve in any demonstrations tomorrow because they may face it rough.
Yesterday at Katonga Road during the press conference the Opposition United forces of Change announced a nationwide demonstration over bad roads and mobilisation starting Thursday 18th January, 2024.
While addressing journalists at media center on Wednesday, Burora admitted the sorry state of some roads but said government has already started working on them disclosing that over 116 km of roads are under construction, 70 km pending so soon the problem will be fixed and no need to demonstrate.
“Tomorrow many heads of states are coming here and high security is expected allover Kampala and some parts of the country so any demonstrations will not be allowed,” he adds.
“Kindly our leaders instead of guiding our followers into bad attempts lead them into productive work such as general cleaning” he said.
