On Sunday 3rd March,2019, while addressing the youths from St Peter’s Nyakishojwa Parish, Reverend Father Robert Ayebazibwe, Curate Priest Rubindi parish in Mbarara ArchDioces said human beings are meant to live this earthly life and later on after death there waits another life (eternal life) which by the virtue of their souls they must live.

Fr Robert asked the youths to confess their sins and reconcile with the God in the forthcoming lent period to prepare for the life to come.
“The youths are the pillars of the church and therefore you should reconcile with your God and keep your faith because if you do not your children shall ask you about your church and you will fail to grow them in a spiritual manner,” Fr Robert said.
The youths under their umbrella; Nyakishojwa Kampala centre were attending a friendly match at Old Kampala SS playground between Buharambo and Nyakishojwa zones the sister zones from same parish.

Between the lines…….

“Lent season is the time when Christians sacrifice theirselves to their God through prayers and fasting emulating Jesus Christ who spent Forty days in the garden of Gatethman to redeem the hearts of men. In this period, Christians engage in charitable works such as feeding the hungry, praying for the sick, helping the needy to mention but a few. This year’s lent begins today Wednesday 6th March, and shall go up to Saturday 20th March, 2019 on Easter Sunday Vigil,” Zenit  News Agency published.

A match that ended in a 5-1 goals score in favor of Buharambo zone was not only a friendly one between the two sister zones but also a holy unification of Nyakishojwa Parish and Kyamuhunga parish both from the catholic ArchDiocess of Mbarara.
Chris Gumisiriza alias Emanzi ya Ruhinda, Chairman Nyakishojwa Centre in Kampala who was also representing a forum of elders from the same centre advised the youths to keep participating in various church activities especially in their centre saying that it’s through this that God shall reward them as well as enabling them build networks for their bright futures.

He also revealed other activities in the centre’s pipelines such as organizing a spiritual retreat for the youths and a friendly match between Nyakishojwa and Kyamuhunga parishes.

The Nyakishojwa-Kampala centre celebrates her Consecration Mass at Dina Dona School in Kasubi every third Sunday of the month and the next mass is scheduled on Sunday March 17th.https://theparrots08.blogspot.com
