The Archdiocese of Gulu has announced dates for the installation of the new ArchBishop, Most. Rev. Raphael P’Mony Wokorach.
Bishop Wokorach was appointed Bishop of the Diocese of Nebbi on 31 March 2021. He was appointed the Metropolitan Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Gulu on 22 March 2024.
In a statement issued by the Emeritus ArchBishop of Gulu, Most. Rev. John Baptist Odama, also the Apostolic Administrator of Gulu Archdiocese, the new ArchBishop will be installed on Friday 12th July, 2024 at St. Joseph’s Cathedral Gulu starting with Eucharistic Mass at 10am.
“I have the joy to announce to you that the Most Rev. Raphael P’Mony Wokorach, MCCJ as the ArchBishop of Gulu Archdiocese and imposition of the Pallium on him is now set for Friday 12th July, 2024 at St. Joseph’s Cathedral Gulu starting with Eucharistic Mass at 10am.” he said.
The ArchBishop emeritus further appointed Fr. Micheal Lawrence Komakee, the Parish Priest of St. Joseph’s Cathedral to head the Centra Organizing Committee of the event.
