Big league outfit Katwe united coach Allan Kabonge is in tears after moving three months without receiving any pay from his bosses.
According to Kabonge,some players demand two months, technical bench coaches demand six months respectively.
“We tried to confront Allan Ssewanyana the owner and founder of the club but he acts arrogantly that he is not surviving on football,he is not treating us well at all,our families are suffering in the current situation with no food, imagine in this quarantine period I have a family and a number of children I look after under Kabonge foundation but he just brags in a political way Everytime we try to remind him about our arrears.”Kabonge stated
Kabonge added that of all the clubs he has been coaching,it’s only Kyetume that came out to appreciate his services.
“Currently I feel like quiting my career and I go to farming because I have suffered even at onduparaka and Paidha Black Angels I left while demanding them eight months and four months respectively.”Kabonge added.
“Apparently, I have pending unpaid salary and sign on fee of 4.5million shillings and 6m respectively ” Kabonge added.
It Should be remembered that the football domestic governing body FUFA kept a deaf ear on giving Katwe united it’s 10m share that are allocated to every club in the big league by league sponsor StarTimes.
With the five matches remaining to the end of 2019/2020 season,the tuli banyivu are seated at the bottom of Elgon group with nine points.
