The King of Lango culturally known as the Lango Paramount Chief, Yo Sam Odur Ebii has been rushed to Mulago hospital for urgent treatment.
The Chief was on Monday first rushed to Lira University teaching hospital in Lira City which referred him to Mulago for a specialized treatment.
The Chief last made public appearances in Lira City during a requiem service for the late Dokolo district Woman MP, Hon. Cecilia Ogwal Atim and in Otuke at the enthronement of Ngura Puc clan Chief, Richard Enen Okello.
Jacob Ocean, the Lango Cultural Foundation spokesperson confirmed that the Chief arrived at Mulago hospital on Tuesday morning noting that his health conditions have stabilized and is currently out of danger.
Muzee Odur, 94, had been at the helm of Lango cultural foundation for the two decades decades following his uncontested election by the council of Clan heads (Owitong) in 2003 in Apac district. He is expected to handover power in December, 2024 after the election of the new Paramount Chief.
