Police rescue and fire brigade team has recovered two yet to identify dead bodies of people who died in a building under construction which has collapsed in Kisenyi Kampala near Kisenyi Bus Terminal.
The duo are part of several scores feared dead after a section of a building under construction collapsed on Sunday afternoon in Kisenyi – near the Bus terminal.
A number of casualities comprising of workers and traders who had gone to seek shelter during the Sunday afternoon rains are still feared dead.
The police rescue and fire brigade together with Uganda Red Cross emergency response team have been deployed to support with any evacuations.
“We have deployed our emergency rescue services team and 2 ambulances to support the emergency rescue going on at Kisenyi, near the Bus terminal where a building under construction just caved in. Working along side.” URC said.
