Latest from Ruhindacounty Mitooma district shows a sigh of relief from the Ambrose Byamugisha Muhoozi aka Ambrosoli political camp after he was bailed from police cells today’s evening.

Ambrosoli, a business consultant turned politician was yesterday arrested on allegations of defying the presidential directives on COVID-19 after police found a number of more than ten people assembled at his place of residence in Kyamuyanga village in Kabira subcounty Ruhinda county Mitooma district.

He was whisked to Mitooma district Police station where he spent his whole night until this evening when he was bailed.

An enormous source from his camp who talked to the Parrotsug said that Byamugisha was granted a non cash bail and asked to report to police on July 7th.

He added that Mr Muhoozi Fred (Ambrosoli’s father) and Ms Karungi Ziporah stood sureties for him.

In anonymous WhatsApp message seen by Parrotsug which broke the news of Ambrosoli’s arrest, the writer alleged incumbent MP Hon Kahonda Dononzio for masterminding latter’s arrest.

He further scorned Hon Kahonda for fueling his opponent’s arrest since he “often times” allegedly accused his long political rival Minister Kahinda Otafire for gearing his arrests in the last elections.

There’s no substantial evidence on both allegations but our team is digging deeper to hear from both parts concerning the matter.

“Eshiii ensi egii hoonashi….mukagira mbu Gen Otafiire atwiire nakomeesa Kahonda…..today Ambrosoli came from Kampala and a few residents where at his home chairman lc 3 kasigazi called area Mp Kahonda and an order was made for his arrest due to the pandemic guidelines……you can imagine an immediate neighbor being the cause of the latter’s arrest. Whoever is concerned please go and bail or rescue out Ambrosoli from prison. #anonymous,” read  an anonymous WhatsApp message.

Means to talk to Ambrosoli were futile since all his known contacts were unavailable.
