Following her pledge made at the beginning of this month, when she made a visited some health centres in her area, the Ruhinda South county aspiring MP, Brenda Atuhaire has again donated free Mama Kits and other equipments to pregnant mothers in Rurehe sub-county.
The medical equipment were presented to Ryengyerero HCIII in Rurehe sub-county, Ruhinda South county Mitooma district on March 28.
The items includes Mama Kits, soap, and baby Pampers among others.
The rising lawmaker at a handing over ceremony said the gesture was in response to the scarcity of Mama Kits and other medical equipments which have forced majority of the women to deliver from home which puts their lives and the lives of their unborn babies at a risk.
