Police in Mpigi district is carrying out an investigation on the six kindergarten pupils aged between 3-6 years who are allegedly to have involved in sexual acts in one of the classroom at school.
The six pupils are of Vision Academy Nursery and Primary School located at Nalya in Mpigi district, it is alleged that they were caught in sexual acts by one of their teachers who later recorded them on the video which went viral.
According to the spokesperson of police Fred Enanga, police started investigating on this incident immediately after watching the video on social media.
“After watching the video on social media we sent our officers to the school to find out what really happened and also arrest the teachers who recorded these pupils because this is child abuse,” Enanga said.
In the video, it shows clearly that these pupils were badly beaten and they were asked to repeat what they had been doing where they even admitted that they were having sex something that was against children’s rights.
“It was so shameful for a teacher to force the young girl to pull down her pants, bend and then told the boy to put his face in the female organ. The act was not called for and this can affect these children and so we are looking for teacher Juliet who is alleged to have recorded this video and the other two teachers who were involved,” Enanga added.
The police appealed to teachers to carry out supervision and monitoring of children at school to fight such incidents to happen.
