The president of Uganda and the national chairman of the NRM has ordered the ONC head and boss Hadijjah Namyalo Uzeiya to focus on problems affecting bazukuulu than organising premature birthdays for him
Sources in State House have intimidated to this publication that at the beginning of last week Hadijjah had gone to request for Shs400m from the State House to help her organise the mega birthday for President Museveni who she held with and top NRM officials but, the meeting ended up fruitless.
Insiders say President Museveni was irritated with the Namyalo, the self-styled Chief Muzzukulu and told her that the State House has no money to waste in birthdays yet Uganda has alot of problems.
The President there and then ordered Namyalo to think and solve problems that are affecting Bazukuulu than misleading them to less productive parties something likely to erode youth confidence in democratic governance of the NRM.
The self proclaimed Chief Muzzukulu (Namyalo) was then according to anonymous sources advised to at least work hand in hand with an NRM Mobilizer and singer Munamasaka Nsereko Emma on his event due on 16th September instead of Confusing supporters.
The president also ordered her to stop looking for funds from his friends like the rich claiming to be Organizing for him a surprise birthday.
For the starters, the Office of the National Chairman (ONC) was set to organise a mega birthday for president on 8th September but the event is still hanging in balance since the organisers have failed to collect funds required to properly arrange the function.
In the same line, the raise of tension on who has the official mandate to organize the birthday celebrations of president has raised as NRM singer Munamasaka, Emma Nsereko has also sent 16th September to celebrate the achievements by the president and his government in a concert of “Museveni Awoma” where he (Munamasaka) is set to celebrate and sensetize people on government projects and programmes.
It should be recalled that since October 2022, there have been clashes between the officials at the NRM secretariat and ONC leaders on who should spearhead Museveni’s 2026 project. The secretariat has hitherto claimed that it is not yet the time to campaign while the youth group maintain that their focus is to promote the Movement’s Ideology.
