Fred Nyanzi Ssentamu alias Chairman Nyanzi, the coordinator for Informal Sector in the People Power movement has said that Mityana municipality MP Francis Zaake Butebi is not in good conditions and only needs prayers.
Chairman Nyanzi who earlier today paid a visit to the ill-health MP at Lubaga Hospital where he’s admitted narrated that the latter is poor health conditions.
“He can neither speak nor do any thing on his own,” Nyanzi said.
MP Zaake’s admission at Lubaga follows the alleged police torture and brutality melted on him after he was allegedly arrested for distributing food to people at his home in Mityana.
Distributing food to people is now criminal in Uganda especially when done without following the ministry of health guidelines on preventing the spread of deadly corona virus.
MP Zaake was arrested and hospitalized at Iran-Uganda hospital in Naguru prior to being produced to court. Upon the request of his lawyers, personal doctors for a special examination.
Later he was admitted at Mulago Kiruddu hospital on Court orders after he was seen in judicial room in poor conditions at Mityana Magistrate’s court.
He was thereafter referred to Lubaga hospital where he’s being admitted receiving treatments.
