Kampala Archdiocese has released a funeral program of the fallen priest Fr. Francis Xavier Lubanga who succumbed to accident.
The accident happened at Senene village kasaanje parish in Mpigi town council Mpiji district. This was after a motor vehicle Toyota Harrier inwhich the priest was in traveling to Entebbe overturned. The deceased was the vice rector of St.Paul’s National Major Seminary in kinyamasaka.
According to the statement released by the Dioceasan chancellor Rev.Fr. Pius Male Ssentumbwe there will be a requIim mass for the deceased at Nsambya parish on 1st January 2023 st 4;00pm.
On Monday 2nd January 2023, the send off ceremony will start with holy mass and will later on the church will lay the deceased to rest at Nsambya cemetery at 3:00PM.
At the beginning of this week, the traffic and road safety directorate spokesperson ASP Faridah Nampiima disclosed that 55 lives were lost between December 23 and 26, 2022 after 47 fatal and 95 serious accidents Countrywide. MAY THE SOUL OF FR.LUBANGA REST IN ETERNAL PEACE.
