Retired Archbishop Orombi Engages with Mubende High Court Officials

Earlier today, retired Church of Uganda Archbishop, Henry Luke Orombi, made a stopover at Mubende High Court where he interacted with Judicial Officers, administrative staff, advocates, and court users at both the High Court and Chief Magistrates Court. The Archbishop’s visit provided an opportunity for meaningful engagement and dialogue between the church and the judiciary. The Archbishop emphasized the importance of upholding justice and serving the public diligently.

In his address, Archbishop Orombi stressed the need for the judiciary to remain impartial and steadfast in their pursuit of justice.

He encouraged the Judicial Officers to stay committed to their duty of upholding the rule of law and ensuring equitable access to justice for all. The Archbishop also acknowledged the challenges faced by the judiciary and expressed his support for their efforts in navigating these obstacles. The Archbishop’s visit to the Mubende High Court served as a reminder of the vital role the judiciary plays in society and the importance of collaboration between the church and the legal system in promoting justice and upholding the rule of law.

The Archbishop’s visit highlighted the mutual respect and cooperation between the Church and the judiciary in their shared commitment to promoting justice and serving the public. The visit of retired Archbishop Orombi to the Mubende High Court served as a powerful reminder of the important role that religious leaders can play in strengthening the justice system and promoting fairness and equality.
