Former Ugandan First Lady Kasalina Zawedde Muwanga and wife to Sixth Ugandan President, Paul Muwanga has passed away.
Zawedde according to reports passed on Monday 22nd April, 2024 at Nakaseero hospital.
Her death was announced by the speaker of parliament Rt. Hon. Annette Anitah Among during a parliamentary session on Tuesday.
“I have been informed of the demise of the former first lady, Nnalongo Kasalina Zawedde Muwanga, widow of the 6th President of Uganda, the late Paulo Muwanga. On behalf of Parliament and on my own behalf, I relay our condolences to the bereaved family and all loved ones. May her soul rest in eternal peace,” speaker Among said.
Neither the family nor the government has issued an official communication regarding Zawedde’s funeral arrangements. May Her Soul Rest In Peace.
