Kampala: Kampala City Lord Mayor, Ssalongo Erias Lukwago, has been airlifted to Agha Khan hospital in Nairobi Kenya for proper medication after doctors at Mulago and Rubaga hospitals failed treatment.
Lukwago was admitted at Mulago after an unknown infection attacked him but the doctors couldn’t get the diagnosis. He was transferred to Agha Khan for proper treatments.
The bedridden Lord Mayor told reports before being airlifted to Nairobi that he is not in critical conditions urging the public to remain calm and pray for him promising that he will get recovery very soon.
He further hailed his doctors at Rubaga and Mulago hospitals for the good work done to save his life.
