Renowned Ugandan Medical graduate, Dr. Faith Nabushawo has been awarded a fully funded scholarship to pursue her Master’s degree in Obstetrics, Reproductive Health, and Gynecology at Kampala International University (KIU).
Dr. Nabushawo is among the few students who have been selected for this scholarship. She said the scholarship will help to further her passion for women’s health and her commitment to advancing her education.
“I am eager to further enrich my knowledge and skills in women’s health,” she said. ” This scholarship will enable me to focus on critical issues within obstetrics and reproductive health, engage in meaningful research, and gain hands-on experience that will empower me to make a significant impact in the lives of women and families.”

An alumna of the same institution for her undergraduate course, Nabushawo noted that the scholarship is a testament to KIU’s dedication to fostering academic excellence and her personal growth.
“I’m eager to build on the solid foundation established during my undergraduate studies and contribute meaningfully to critical issues in obstetrics and reproductive health,” said Nabushawo.
She says she will use her scholarship to engage in impactful research, gain hands-on experience, and make a significant difference in the lives of women and families.

Upon completing her Master’s degree, she plans to combine academic and clinical roles, teaching and mentoring future healthcare professionals while providing compassionate care to patients.
“I believe that by combining my roles in education and clinical practice, I can contribute to the development of well-rounded healthcare providers and promote a culture of excellence in reproductive health,” Dr. Nabushawo said.
