Nile breweries has on 20th November been declared the overall winner of the Mbarara cooperate clubs league.
Centenary bank emerged the winner of the above 30 category while TK motorcycles and spare parts scooped the open category award.
The awarding function involving cheerful clubs amidst heavy downpour took place on the 20th and last outing at kakyeka stadium in Mbarara city as a climax of the 2022 cooperate games that started in February this year.
While handing over the awards to the companies that participated in this year’s league, the chairperson of Mbarara cooperate league Dr Amon Aruho appreciated all the companies that took part in the league.
He noted that Mbarara cooperate club has organised a dinner that will take place on a date that will be communicated later to give a detailed table showing how teams performed and awarding the top scorers.
Among other teams that have participated in this year’s league is Vision group, Holy Innocents Children’s hospital, Kazire health products, Coca cola,Joint Medical stores, Acacia hotels, Rwampara East legends, Igongo cultural centre, Hotel triangle and many others.
