The ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) party has revealed party’s nation wide decision to give motorcycles to all NRM sub county chairpersons.
In a statement published on party social platforms, the party chairman President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is expected to launch the yellow motorcycle scheme today at party headquarters on Kyadondo road Nakaseero Kampala.
The party further said that Museveni will further address the party giving guidance on a number of issues within NRM.
On August 16, Museveni flagged off over 300 yellow Bicycles meant to be distributed to all NRM LC1 chairpersons across the country.
The distribution of bicycles and yellow motorcycles is according to NRM a way of facilitating the chairpersons in executing their party duties.
This act comes at a time when Uganda is in preparations for the 2021 presidential and parliamentary elections something that a number of political critics allege President Museveni and his NRM party to indirectly be bribing voters.
