The management at Ntare School in Mbarara City have suspended all Senior Six (S.6) candidates over Indiscipline.
According to a circular by the school Headteacher, Saul Rwampororo which Parrots Media seen, the students lasts night became violent and destroyed a number of properties including the recently installed CCTV cameras in the school.
“The school management has today 03rd October, 2023 decided to indefinitely suspend the entire senior six students because last night they exhibited a high degree of Indiscipline – they deliberately destroyed school property including the recently installed CCTV cameras around the school,” read the circular in parts.
Rwampororo said the school Board of Governors will sit to assess the damages and chart way forward.
The suspension comes at a time when senior six candidates are remaining with one month to sit for their Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) examinations in November.
