The leader and founder of the Faith of Unity, Omukama Ruhanga Owobusobozi Bisaka, has called on believers to actively engage in government programs and support the NRM government, led by His Excellency President Yoweri Museveni. Addressing a large gathering at the Omukama Ruhanga Owobusobozi Bisaka International Stadium in Muhorro, during the 38th Flower Day (Children’s Day) celebrations, Owobusobozi Bisaka emphasized the importance of hard work as a means to achieve success and wealth.

Owobusobozi Bisaka praised the NRM government for its efforts in maintaining peace, stating that without President Museveni’s investigative support, the Faith of Unity might not have been able to unite people globally. He highlighted the crucial role of diligence, urging followers to double their efforts in all government initiatives.

The event, which began with a grand mass movement from the Kapyemi Headquarters of the Faith of Unity to the Omukama Ruhanga Owobusobozi International Stadium, saw thousands of believers and non-believers come together in celebration. Among the attendees were numerous government officials, including the special Guest of the Day, Dr. James Tweheyo, commissioner in the office of the President under RDCs and RCCs. Dr. Tweheyo expressed his gratitude to Owobusobozi Bisaka for his contribution to the government’s fight against poverty by empowering his followers to work hard and support the NRM government.

During the function, approximately 64 individuals from various religious backgrounds joined the Faith of Unity. Owobusobozi Bisaka welcomed them by presenting them with the Book of God of the Age of Oneness and the Faith of Unity calendar. He advised the new members to use the calendar to maximize their productivity, noting that it allocates only a few days for rest (the 2nd, 12th, and 22nd of each month) and many days for work (27 days a month).

The celebration of Flower Day marks an important occasion for the Faith of Unity, promoting unity, hard work, and active participation in government programs for the betterment of the community and nation. It is always remembered as a significant moment when Owobusobozi Bisaka helped many women deliver their children, overcoming the effects of satanic charms that had previously prevented them from giving birth. He healed them free of charge, and in gratitude, the women, carrying their children and holding flowers, accompanied Him around the town of Muhorro, singing “Omukama Ruhanga Owamahe Goona Muhikiriire Tumukugize Itwena.” This event took place on July 2, 1986, and has been celebrated annually ever since.
