Police investigates fire outbreak at Royal paints factory Makindye.

Police in Kampala are investigating circumstances underwhich fire broke out at Royal Paint factory in Makindye, a Kampala suburb.

On ewe morning hours of Wednesday, fire broke out at Royal paints factory in Makindye leaving property worth millions of shillings destroyed.

The Deputy Director Fire Safety and Emergency Services, Hassan Kyanda said police fire and rescue team is on the ground trying to establish the cause of the fire.

He, however, faulted the owner of the factory for setting up such a business in a residential area which he said puts the entire neighborhood at risk.
