Uganda can get COVID-19 vaccine before Europe if we wipe out parasites.

President Museveni is optimistic that scientists in Uganda are capable of inventing COVID-19 vaccine before any western powers if their innovations were not affected by corrupt officials in the country.
According to Museveni, there is a big potential for Ugandan scientists to come up with COVID-19 vaccine and cure but most times their innovations are covered below the carpet by corrupt officials whom he referred to as ”parasites.”
“Even this COVID-19 medicine, we can get it before the Europeans get it if we get rid of the parasites. Our scientists are good but they are being failed by people who care about themselves alone and not the country,” Museveni said.
The President was speaking to the nation today during the 31st Heros day anniversary at State House Entebbe.
He vowed to eradicate corruption in the country appealing to the general public to pray to God so that the parasites are eradicated from the country.
However, he didn’t divulge into any details of these parasites, what’s remembered is that since March when the Virus was confirmed in the country he has been accusing some corrupt officials of delaying innovations by some scientists to get COVID-19 cure.
Among other things, the president who is well known for talking sweetly about scientists in this COVID-19 quarantine, further revealed that his government is preparing Namboole stadium to enable health workers treat a bigger number of people suspected of or infected with the virus.
He added that effective tomorrow June 10th, government shall start distributing free face masks to Ugandansurging them to continue observing set guidelines if Uganda is to fight the virus.
