Campaigns for Dokolo Woman MP by-election support of their candidate for Dokolo by-election are getting tight every passing day and different candidates are heavily involved in the campaigns.

The UPC candidate, Sarah Aguti Nyangkori who is according to several on ground reports is a strong candidate is attracting massive support from her party and other political parties.

As voting day draws close, party big wigs have hit the ground in Adok and Agwatta sub-counties to spread Aguti’s political gospel.

The UPC campaign machine is led by the Lango son and UPC President Hon. Jimmy Akena whose strategic plan and determination won him the Oyam North by-election last year against the ruling Party by despite attempts to rig elections by NRM.

Other bigwigs on the campaign trail are the Party Secretary General Hon. Fred Ebil, Maruzi North MP Hon. Nelson Okello Lemba, Oyam North MP Hon. Dr. Eunice Otuko Apio, Maruzi MP Hon. Maxwell Akora, Amolatar LCV District Chairman Comrade Ocen Geoffrey, Alebtong LCV District Chairman Comrade David Kenneth Odongo, Division Mayors and Local Government Councilors, Regional Vice Chairperson of Lango Comrade Chris Ongom and Regional Party District Chairpersons.

On Thursday 14th March 2024, the UPC President announced that the Party is in Dokolo for serious business and the first business on the order is to win the Dokolo by-election on Thursday 21st March 2024.

UPC is increasingly getting momentum and support every single day and the massive number of supporters in other campaigns camps joining the UPC camp gives a good gesture to Aguti’s landslide victory come on March 21.
