UPC cadres from the Rwenzori su-region have been asked to double efforts in mobilizing party political support at the grassroot levels to regain party’s national glory.

“Let’s put emphasis on the ground,” urged Kasese District UPC Woman Leader, Cadre. Masika Fatumah.

She made the remarks at the ongoing regional meeting for the party leaders at Allan’s Resort Hotel in Fort Portal Tuorism City.

The move which is being spearheaded by the party Vice President Hon. Fahad Mutenderwa Kinyiri is anchored on mobilization for the Party.

This is the seventh regional meeting of the Vice President after other meetings in Bukedi, Bugisu, Busoga, Sebei and Buganda regions that were carried out last year.

Speaking during the meeting, the Vice President encouraged members to work hard for the party and amplify mobilization within the areas of their jurisdictions.

“Execute your roles as prescribed in the Party constitution and be active in your respective branches by amplifying political mobilization for the UPC,” VP Kinyiri advised.

He was accompanied by the Ass. Secretary General Cde. Bakkabulindi Ben Kigongo and Ass. National Youth Leader Cde. Okwi Godfrey.
