The Defense spokesperson Brig. Gen.Felix Kulayigye has confirmed that the joint forces comprised of FARDC and UPDF have hit ADF rebels bases in Democratic Republic of Congo – DRC scattering them into smaller groups.
In a statement released on Sunday 14th April, 2024, Kulayigye said the scattered groups remain dangerous and urged citizens to exercise vigilance.
“As we endeavor to defeat them inside Eastern DRC and secure our borders, we urge continue to urge citizens to exercise vigilance,” said Brig. Gen. Kulaigyye.
He stressed that the Updf is committed to a peaceful and secure Uganda and Eastern DRC.
