A farmer in Otuke district has died after he accidentally drunk pesticide which he mistook to a locally brewed alcohol.
The deceased is Joel Odongo, 38, a resident of Odungule B zone, Anyalima parish, Ogor Sub County in Otuke district.
Odongo, who is also a member of Atek Adyang okwer kic consumed the substance yesterday January 19.
According to Sam Opio, a resident, Odongo allegedly bought the pesticide for netting birds but he forgot and drank it
Opio refuted reports that Odongo died in alleged suicide.
