The Kabaka of Buganda Kingdom, His Royal Majesty Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II has assured his subjects of his good health.
In a video clip released by the Kingdom on July 1, Kabaka Mutebi II said his health is improving stating that he will be returning to the Kingdom soon.
“My health is improving, and I hope to be back home soon. I urge our people to remain united,” said Kabaka (King) Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II.
The King has been reportedly on a rest in Namibia at Okonguarri Psychotherapeutic Centre since April 2024.
“I am at this place where I came to get some rest and treatment on the guidance of doctors,” said Mutebi
In his message, Kabaka Mutebi II urged his people to remain united during this time. His assurance comes after concerns about his health and whereabouts. The Kingdom had previously confirmed that the King was seeking medical attention in Namibia, dismissing rumors of his detention.
